HONOLULU – Demolition in the Midtown Ala Moana neighborhood began today, setting the stage for construction of Azure Ala Moana, a new transit-oriented development (TOD) project. The first TOD project approved under the City’s new ordinance, Azure includes 330 for-sale condominium residences, 78 rental apartments and 21,268 square-feet of commercial real estate space all under one roof, including a public plaza for programmed community events.
