Governor Ige’s Statewide Stay-at-Home, Work-at-Home Order

The Azure Ala Moana Sales Gallery will be operating on a Virtual Appointment Only basis in accordance with Governor David Ige’s Statewide Stay-at-Home, Work-at-Home Order. The construction team remains on site and on schedule for a fall 2021 completion.

Sales Gallery: Temporarily Closed

March 20, 2020

In accordance with Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Emergency Order, the Azure Ala Moana Sales Gallery is temporarily closed until April 30, 2020, unless otherwise noted. The construction of housing is considered “Essential Infrastructure” and the construction team remains on site and on schedule for a fall 2021 completion.

Construction Update: February 2020

If you’ve driven down Keeaumoku Street this week, you may have seen our construction team hard at work on levels five through seven of the structure. They’ve been busy since initially breaking ground last April, building your future homes with care and consideration.

Construction Update – October 2019

As we head into the last quarter of 2019, we have many exciting updates to share.

Over the last few months we’ve reached a few significant construction milestones including the erection of the tower crane in July, which currently stands at approximately 27 stories tall. As work progresses in 2020, we will increase the height of the crane two more times to a final height of over 500 feet.

Construction Update: Setting the Foundation for Your Future Home

This month, significant activity is taking place at the Azure Ala Moana construction site. The construction team led by general contractor Albert C. Kobayashi, Inc. is working on excavating and pouring the two mat foundations underneath the tower – the massive, steel-reinforced concrete slabs that provide the primary support for the building. Both mats are approximately eight feet thick with the makai mat measuring at 2,300 square feet in area, and the mauka mat at an amazing 3,140 square feet.

Reaching New Heights: The Tower Crane Milestone

When constructing a high-rise tower, one of the most significant milestones is the erection of the tower crane. While there is a huge amount of work to prepare the site’s foundation for construction, the onset of the crane marks the exciting start of the tower going vertical.
