HONOLULU (KHON2) – There was a ground breaking held on Monday for the Azure Ala Moana. It is located at 641 Keeaumoku Street. The condo has 330-units, and 21,268 square feet of commercial space. There are also 78 rental apartments available to qualified renters earning up to 80 percent of the area median income. A public plaza will provide space for community events including a farmer’s markets and live entertainment. The project is designed by Honolulu-based architect Design Partners Incorporated, in collaboration with interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates, and leading landscape architecture firm PBR Hawaii. Albert C. Kobayashi, Inc. (ACK) is the contractor on the project.
